The Travelers are an Indie Folk Rock trio.
The group has traveled far, from the high peaks of the Himalayas to remote islands in the Caribbean. They have brought back with them original songs that speak about a quest for understanding of love and relationships.
The Travelers incorporate unique rhythms and sophisticated melodies inspired by far off lands while keeping true to their American roots. They tell stories of the journey within the heart and around the globe.

They'll have stories aboard the Valley Transit Trolley featuring Valley Transit staff & board guest readers, followed by activities and games in the Valley Transit Transfer Center Plaza.

Red Light Challenge is a powerhouse pop-rock duo that’s like if Neon Trees and Coldplay had a baby at a Walk the Moon concert.
It’s Sean and Kyle Luster, brothers and best friends with undeniable onstage chemistry and witty banter. These two misfits, originally from Hawaii but now based in Boise, Idaho, mix catchy melodies, infectious music, and lyrics so personal, it’s like they talked to your therapist before the show. Back to School End of Summer Bash
We invite all youth and families to kickoff the end of summer at Heritage Square. There will be live music by DJ Phaz3r and food available to purchase at Public House 124. This high-energy evening invites youth, families, and the community to come together for music, movement, and connection under the summer sky.
The series is presented in partnership with Create The Arts Washington, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to bringing arts and access to our community.
Les Liaisons Dangereuses

Disney’s classic, Aladdin, tells the story of a kind-hearted street thief named Aladdin who struggles to survive in the city of Agrabah. His life changes when he meets Princess Jasmine, who longs to escape the constraints of royal life. After being tricked by the power-hungry sorcerer Jafar into retrieving a magical lamp from the Cave of Wonders, Aladdin discovers a Genie who can grant him three wishes. Hoping to win Jasmine’s heart, he uses his wishes to disguise himself as a wealthy prince.
As Aladdin navigates his new identity, he must also outwit Jafar, who seeks the lamp’s power for himself. Ultimately, Aladdin learns the importance of honesty and staying true to who he is, using his final wish to free the Genie rather than for personal gain. The story celebrates love, friendship, and the courage to be yourself.

Michael Kelly has played professionally in the Northwest since the early 1990s. He was a part of the Seattle-based blues bands Albro Swift, Deacon Blue, and Milagro. He presents music that grooves slowly and runs deep. He plays at a loud enough volume to enjoy but never overpowering — loud enough to hear but never intrusive.

Brittany Collins is an Americana singer-songwriter hailing from picturesque Skagit Valley, Washington.
Inspired by the natural beauty of her surroundings, Brittany weaves heartfelt narratives into her music, blending folk, country, and rock influences. Her debut album “Things I Tell My Therapist”, released in 2022, generated positive press from American Songwriter, Adobe & Teardrops and Americana Highways and other notable publications.
Joined in 2024 by her band, Collins & Co. have performed at music festivals across the country, including the NW Folklife Festival, Americanafest and Brodie Nation Music Festival. She has shared the stage with major-label acts such as Noah Cyrus, Hillstomp, William Elliott Whitmore, and Rhett Miller. The band is currently hard at work on their second full-length album, with singles set to be released throughout 2026. Their latest single “Gone with the Wind”, is available now to stream everywhere.

Summer Concert Series: The JuneBugs
Imagine if Neil Young and Janis Joplin had three love children, and those children grew up to like folk rock and hip hop.
The Junebugs combine high-energy pop and rock with Pacific Northwest folksy goodness to create a genre-bending sound you can kick up your heels to.
The Junebugs originated on the Vancouver, BC circuit before moving back home to Portland, OR. There, guitarist Barrett picked up drummer Kyle Owen and bassist Nathaniel Daniel, to round out the dynamic trio. Covering everything from Tom Petty to TLC to Lorde, the eclectic taste of the trio ranges from turn-of-the-century Americana to modern Hip Hop, with a strong emphasis on vocal harmony.
Their original tunes have a dreamy, sweet quality reminiscent of Neil Young and Iron & Wine, peppered with fiery banjo lines. There is something for everyone here.

Holiday Parade of Lights
The Downtown Walla Walla Foundation is pleased to present the Annual Holiday Parade of Lights on Saturday, December 5th at 6:00pm.
Always held on the first Saturday in December, this event features a huge variety of lighted entries and thousands of spectators who help herald in the start of the holiday shopping season.
The parade begins promptly at 6 pm at the corner of Alder and Fifth Street. The parade travels east on Alder to Spokane, Spokane to Main Street, and Main Street to Sixth. The Jolly Old Elf Himself, SANTA CLAUS, will bring the parade to a close as he makes his way into Downtown Walla Walla.

Starting August 1, we're introducing a late-night small plates menu, served alongside our full bar, so you can keep the night going long after the last song fades. Think shareable bites, easy sips, and no reason to head home early. Same great spot, new after-hours vibe.
Summer Concert Series: Son de Cuba
Son de Cuba is a quintet created in August 2015 by musicians from USA and Cuba.
The majority of us are Cubans with roots in Latin, African, and Jazz rhythms. We blend this vast knowledge of beats together in classic and modern Latin songs. We play different genres including Salsa, Timba, Son, Merengue, Bolero, Cumbia, Bachata, Latin Jazz.
The band: Vocals, bass and piano player, Nelson Morales; lead singer and minor percussion, Geisy Almanza; Sax, flute and vocals, Ramon Brizuela Martinez; Timbal player, Omar Pons; and percussion, vocals and band manager, Tony Gonzalez.
With only five performers, we have a full sound and will draw a crowd with our energy, joy and love of music.

Space Jam blends live-action and animation to tell the story of basketball legend Michael Jordan, who is unexpectedly recruited by Looney Tunes characters to help them win a high-stakes basketball game. The Tunes are threatened by a group of tiny aliens who steal the talents of top NBA players and transform into powerful opponents known as the Monstars. With their freedom on the line, Bugs Bunny and his friends convince Jordan to come out of retirement and lead their team.
As the game unfolds, the Tunes rely on teamwork, humor, and Jordan’s skills to take on the much stronger Monstars. Along the way, Jordan regains his confidence and love for the game, while the Looney Tunes prove that heart and determination can overcome even the toughest competition.

Summer Concert Series: The Diego Romero Band
‘Dynamite Diego’ always puts on a fantastic show full of exhilarating high energy and is absolutely guaranteed to rock your night away.
Born and raised in the Walla Walla Valley, Diego always found himself fascinated with the art of music, and soon found himself fully engaged within his community. Growing up in a Hispanic household, he was exposed to multiple genres of music which included Corridos, Cumbia, Rock, Hip Hop, Country, Funk and much more. Though the love for diverse music began to grow, he realized the genre that connected with him the most was none other than the Blues. The emotion, feel, and rawness of the genre was more than enough to draw him in.
With inspiration from Freddie King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Buddy Guy, Prince and most importantly, his personal mentor Gary Winston, it became clear that music is what he was wanting to pursue. Get ready for an experience that will keep you at the edge of your seat throughout the night with his explosive guitar work and booming vocals.

Successful singer/songwriter Julia Schlippert (vocals), and seasoned musicians/songwriters Dany Oakes (vocals/guitar) and Corey "Mitch" Mitchell (vocals/guitar), formed the group in August of 2025 and have been gaining notable recognition with tasteful & catchy renditions of musical favorites and signature harmony blends.

Third Fridays on Second Ave: Michael Agidius
Michael Agidius has been immersed in music since childhood, beginning with choir solos at age four and later studying piano and saxophone with a focus on jazz and classical styles. After a 31-year career teaching music in Milton-Freewater, Oregon, he went on to build and direct the big band program at Walla Walla University for 14 years. Since retiring in 2018, he has focused on performing, bringing his talents to jazz, blues, rock, country, and regional ensembles including the Walla Walla Symphony and Pendleton Round-Up Mounted Band.

Semiquincentennial Celebration
July 17 through September 26, Semiquincentennial will commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and the birth of our nation in 1776.
This special display explores how Americans across generations have celebrated the ideals of liberty, self-government, and civic responsibility. Among the featured items are historic flags and books that illustrate how the story of American independence has been shared and preserved over time.
The exhibit also includes a rare booklet and related materials from the patriotic Freedom Train, which stopped in Walla Walla in the late 1940s as it traveled across the country displaying historic documents and artifacts that symbolized the nation’s founding principles.

Cooking Class: Knife Skills & Family Meal
Good cooking starts long before the pan hits the stove.
In this hands-on two-hour class, we’ll focus on the fundamentals of knife skills and kitchen prep while working together to help build a shared family meal. We’ll learn practical cutting techniques, organization, and prep skills designed to build confidence and comfort in the kitchen without feeling overly technical or intimidating.
Together, we’ll prep a chopped salad of baby kale and crispy chickpeas with creamy parmesan dressing, build a warm chorizo and cherry tomato dressing for roasted chicken, and prepare smashed baby potatoes with garlic and herbs while our kitchen team cooks and demonstrates techniques throughout the evening.
This class is designed to feel less like a formal cooking class and more like joining us at the prep table while dinner comes together in real time.
After prepping together, we’ll gather around the table to enjoy the meal we helped build.

Very few musicians are said to be extraordinary examples of excellence in any one genre of music. Even fewer can be described as exceptional across multiple. When considering Chris Eger fits into the latter category as both a guitarist AND vocalist, it is no doubt an especially rare gift.
Fronting his own band for close to a decade now, Chris has taken his game to a new level and a new town. When Nashville called, he answered, and this highly anticipated project was born. Eger and his longtime guitar-hero, and Nashville recording artist, Eric Heatherly, joined forces and have crafted an album that demands attention. Rock and Blues, Country, Funk and Soul collide in this modern take on vintage roots music.
