Now Accepting Applications for the DWWF Board of Directors

There’s only one downtown Walla Walla. Help shape what comes next.

The Downtown Walla Walla Foundation is a local nonprofit, rooted in this community and committed to its future. Our mission is to promote and preserve the history, culture, and commerce of downtown Walla Walla and we’re inviting neighbors to join our Board of Directors for the 2027–2029 term.

What board members do:
Our board leads in four ways: guiding strategy and governance, overseeing the Foundation’s finances, supporting fundraising through personal giving and opening doors, and serving as visible advocates for downtown across the community.

What we ask of board members:
Show up: attend monthly board meetings, serve on at least one committee, and take part in key events when able.
Bring your perspective: we need downtown property owners, business owners, and neighbors from all parts of the Walla Walla community.
Give and connect: support our fundraising and help us build relationships across Walla Walla

Who should apply:
Downtown is for everyone and so is this board. Whether you bring professional skills, community connections, or simply a love for Main Street, there’s a place for you in this work. You don’t need prior board experience just a commitment to showing up.
